Levofloxacin is an antibiotic used to treat various bacterial infections such as pneumonia, bronchitis, sinusitis, urinary tract infections (UTIs), skin infections, and certain sexually transmitted infections. It is also prescribed for prostatitis, bone and joint infections, and for preventing infection after anthrax exposure.
