Hey folks, I’m trying to figure out what size party bus would work best for a bachelor party I’m planning for my brother. There will be around 15 of us, but I keep seeing options that say they fit 16, 24, even 32 people. I don’t want to go overboard, but also don’t want it to feel cramped. Has anyone here booked a party bus before and can tell me what the space actually feels like with a full group?

I’ve rented party buses twice — once for a friend’s 30th with 14 people and another time for a small wedding group of about 22, so I totally get your dilemma. From my experience, even if a bus says it fits 16, that number usually includes max seating without much “elbow room.” If you plan to actually party on board (dancing, moving around, playing games, etc.), you’ll want a bit more space than the minimum listed.
When we had 14 on a 16-seater, it was fine for just sitting and chatting with drinks, but when the music got going, it was tight. For 22 people, we got a 32-seater, and honestly, it was perfect — people could move freely, and it didn’t feel like a commuter train at rush hour 😄. If your brother’s party is going to involve more than just riding from point A to B, I’d recommend sizing up.
